Over the past 18 months, there been a huge amount of work on our back-end systems within Blue Waters. Greater automation in finance and meetings systems, better linking and co-ordination of data, integration of AI into our workflows to drive efficiency… you get the picture. All in-house, all cost-effective, all resulting in no extra costs to our clients.
One of the most tangible new fruits borne from those efforts has been our finance reporting. Over the past year, most meetings have been furnished with constantly up-to-date reporting on budgets, incomes and expenditures in a format garnering near-universal praise. Nearly every meeting, a least one person says something along the lines of:
Your financial reporting is the clearest on any of the developments we own properties on!
A small number receive these reports monthly, and the reports are always ready, so we thought… why not give everyone the same level of access, all the time?
So here we are, just days before launching BWDirectors.com for that exact purpose. Constant, secure, private access for all of our directors to the data that helps drive decisions.
At launch, we expect to have the following initial reports ready within the system:
- Income & Expenditures (2022-present)
- Budgets (2024-present or 2025-present, depending on development)
- Banking and Cash Synopsis (with full banking trails following very shortly)
- Expenditure Lists (2022-present)
- Suppliers (all time)
- Supplier Transactions (all time)
- Debtors/Property Balances
- Your Property Statements
- DepartmentalĀ Income & Expenditures (2022-present)
- Departmental Budgets (2024-present or 2025-present, depending on development)
Going forward, there will be a flurry of further additions to the portal that we’re very excited about, but that’s more than enough to get started!
Access to any development’s data is highly restricted. As well as being logged in on this portal, data is only served if your email matches our internal records and your directorship is live on Companies House.
We will be sending out further information to the first tranche of directors over the next week, and hopefully getting all site up and running over July 2026.
